- Price is a lot higher than some of the other models previously reviewed on this website but is well warranted by its overall robustness and quality.
- Assembly manual can be hard to follow and could be a little simpler and the operational instructions for the console could be improved on.
- You need to allow 30 to 60 minutes for assembly and possibly more depending how fast you can work. All in all there is very little negativity that can be said as it is far superior to several other models and brands that we have come across and is definitely worth the money if you have it to spend. It has met and exceeded our own expectations.

My last job had about 5 rowing machines in the gym that was available. It was my favorite way to do a full body cardio workout. Now, I recently changed jobs and a gym at work is not available. I really want a new Row Machine. The Unisex AR Rower is the one most similar to the ones I used at my last job. I might upgrade to the GR Rower. I want to read the Concept2 review first though before making a final decision but thanks anyway for the detail across this review
I bet this rower is really good for upper body strength and tightening up those bat wings a lot of us have. Is there a more compact version of this? What muscle groups exactly would this machine target, would it also strengthen your core and lower back? I have two herniated discs in my lower back, I’m wondering if this would help my problem. In my experience I’ve had to modify a lot of exercises because of my back and now that I’m older I am having trouble with my knees. If this worked for my lower back it seems like a great investment, just got to find a place to put it. Its good that the AR rower can be folded up as I cannot having it taking over the full living room
Yes, they will strengthen and tone up your core and build out muscles in your shoulders, arms and back. There is no compact version but they can be folded away after use. Regards, John
