  1. I’m so glad I encountered your website. My brother has been in the market for an exercise bike to put in his home gym. However, I figured I would get him one for his 21st birthday. I think that the third option is the best. I like how it looks compared to the second option. Haha. Also, when comparing the second and third option I think the third option would be better because one of the cons of the second option is its weight, however, I hope the third option isn’t too heavy to move to his gym upstairs. He needs really fast gear ratios and a wide range of cardio and intense workout programmes so for him the CSX 225 meets all the requirements . The fact that there is 20 programmes to choose from means that one can choose more difficult programmes on certain days of the week and lesser intense workouts on other days of the week for when we need lighter type workouts. Good to have the flexibility to choose whatever programme you are in the mood for.Thank you so much foe this detailed review.

  2. I was looking at the Roger Black bikes and came across this review on Proform bikes also. Oh! I quite like the recumbent bike! I remember the first time I saw someone riding this style of bike and I thought it was the coolest looking contraption ever! I have never personally ridden this sort of bike, but I am very interested in trying one out. I wouldn’t normally shop at Argos or Amazon for fitness equipment as I tend to shop at fitness stores for all my equipment needs but the prices available from both Amazon and Argos have been an eye opener for me, how are their prices lower than what I have seen elsewhere in my other sports equipment shops? Anyway, good to know that these Proform bikes are available online from here and the fact that they deliver to your home saves a serious amount of traffic hassle. Thanks once again, Ciara

  3. My partner and I have used the 310 CSX recumbent bike before and we can definitely recommend it to anyone else that see’s this review. We bought it 3 years ago and it it still going strong and as good as new as the day when we first bought it, a great bike – we love it and use it without fail week in week out and it never lets us down, Thank you for assembling this review as I certainly enjoyed reading it. Xaric

  4. Finally, a solid review with pros and cons for the higher price bracket machines. My budget wouldn’t extend to some of these but at least now I know what you’re getting for the extra lay out. After reading through the reviews it did occur to me that for a little bit of extra saving you could get some major health benefits. No longer just a case of getting on the bike, headphones on and pedal till you’re done. Now you can monitor your vitals and work your way through some work out themes. Shows how ignorant I am, I didn’t realise you could get them with backs on the seats. A good way to avoid back pain for the novice. Having the comparison links on hand to be able to compare info and prices of some other branded equipment was a nice touch.
I would probably go for one of the cheaper options but at least I know what’s out there. I like the fact that these bikes can cater for larger people and heavier weights – some members within the family that will be using it are over 100kg so we need more than just a lightweight bike to cater for our family’s needs. We need a larger stronger bike with a heavy set frame. The 225 CSX is certainly the one that we prefer here as it has the Bluetooth connectivity also and a massive range of 20 tension levels available, good to know this and to be able to compare them all easily so thanks for the work with this review

  5. Thank you John for this interesting review! Personally, i’ve observed that most reviews are downright boring, but you found a way to make this elaborate and enjoyable.Of the 3, i have a special fascination for the 310 CSX Recumbent Bike, largely because of the user friendly nature of the console coupled with the MP3 connection bonus. These exercise bikes from Proform do cost you a lot more than your average bike but they are certainly worth the money if you have the extra money to spend. I like the fact that at least there is a 2-year warranty also so if there are any problems within that 2 year period, that at least you can bring it back to get a full refund which certainly gives me great peace of mind
